Answers to the questions we hear the most
Uploading
Do I have to type in locations myself?
No. flyve reads the place and time (EXIF) embedded in each photo and sorts it onto your map automatically. If a photo has no location data, you can pick the place yourself when uploading.
Can I upload photos from past trips?
Yes. Photos from years ago are sorted by the time they were actually taken. Your camera roll is all you need to fill the map.
What kind of photos can I upload?
Travel photos you took yourself. Reposted photos, stock images, and AI-generated images are not allowed.
Can I upload videos too?
Yes. You can upload videos up to 60 seconds, just like photos. flyve reads where and when they were taken and sorts them onto your map. Available from app version 1.12.0.
Location & map
Can other people see where my photos were taken?
Only photos you publish appear on the map. Be careful publishing sensitive places like your home - and you can delete a post at any time.
How do photos appear on the map and globe?
Every place you visit gets a photo pin. Switch to the globe view and the cities you visited light up on a 3D earth.
Travel badges
How do I earn travel badges?
Badges stack up automatically as you upload - based on the countries, cities, and seasons in your record. There are several tracks (around the world, city collector, off the beaten path, and more), and you can see the full list on the badges screen in your profile.

Is flyve free?
Yes - every feature is free. flyve is available on both iPhone and Android.
How can I sign in?
flyve supports Apple, Google, Kakao, and LINE social login, as well as email sign-up.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to the Profile tab → Settings → Account → Delete account. If you no longer have the app, you can also request deletion by email (lhs3446@flyve.kr).
